This restriction on free Zoom accounts should not affect your course participation, since you do not need an account to attend Zoom sessions. Sign into web portal for Zoom. Keep your microphone muted unless you're talking, to reduce echoes and background noise from interfering with the class. At the start of the exam, you may be asked to show your student ID card to verify your identity.
